OWEN YOUNG

Owen trained at Mountview Academy of Performing Arts (London), where he obtained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Acting.

Whilst in training, his credits included The Threepenny Opera, Happy Families, The American Clock (Mountview) , Hamlet, Don Quixote and Oedipus. He also represented Mountview at The Sam Wannamaker Festival at The Globe Theatre (Deflores in the Changeling)

Since graduating he has been part of some wonderful productions including The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leonardo in Blood Wedding (Steam Industry), the title role in Edward II ( Eyestrings ) and Maugrim in The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe at the Birmingham Reparatory Theatre.

At the latter part of 2009, Owen was offered an incredible chance to tour the United States with the Aquila Theatre (New York). He played principal roles in both Enemy Of The People and As You Like It. The tour concluded its run off Broadway and was extremely well received throughout.

Having been back in the UK for a short time, Owen has been offered a further six month tour with the Aquila for which he is thrilled about and shall be starting rehearsals in September.

Owen is personally managed by Louise.
